The Teledyne LeCroy Signal Integrity Academy is a web portal offering the internet's premier signal integrity training.

All the content provided by the Academy is in the form of short, concise video lessons about 5 to 15 minutes long. Copies of the slides can be downloaded and in some cases, special files or software tools can also be downloaded.

While each lesson is self contained, they are part of a larger flow broken up into classes or courses. The initial three courses are based on the very popular public classes presented by Dr. Eric Bogatin. 

If you missed one of these public classes, you can catch each of them, here at the Academy.

Some of the videos are free but most require that you are a subscriber. Subscriptions can be for an individual or for an entire company.

All subscriptions are an "all you can eat buffet". All the lessons are available for ANYONE with a subscription.

Corporate subscriptions are based on the domain name used in your email. It's the xxx@CompanyDomainName.com

ANYONE with the domain name of the corporate subscriber has complete access to ALL the lessons in ALL the classes, world wide.

A corproate subscription costs $10,000 for an annual subscrition, for unlimited access. 

If you think your company should purchase a subscription, find a manager to place the order and the corporate subscription will be set up.

If your company already has a corporate subscription, just enter your email address at any subscriber login button and after we verify your email address and you set up your personal account, you will have access to all the content at the SI Academy.

Corporate subscriptions are based on email domain names. Click on any "subscriber log in" button and you will be asked to enter your email address. We check your email and tell you if your company has a corporate subscription or not.

if your company has a corporate subscription, we will then ask you to create a personal account by filling in a simple form. Here you will be able to create your password. 

After you press the continue button on this account creation page, you will receive an email from beTheSignal. By clicking on the embedded link, we verify your email address. Your subscription will then be activated.

You can return to the beTheSignal. com site and log in as a subscriber. Just enter your email and the password you create and you can view ANY of the lessons in ANY class and download ALL the content.

Yes. Each course has a few lessons which are available for anyone to view. They will have a little (i) after the title of the lesson.

Just click on the lesson and you can view the video as many times as you want, and download any of the content.

If you like what you see and want to become a subscriber, just click on any subscriber login button and you can walk through the process to purchase a subscription.

A subscription authorizes you to view all the content at the SI Academy. A personal account is where we keep the information about you. This is where your contact information and password information is stored.

Only subscribers have a personal account. 

Once you have purchased a subscription, either as an individual or part of a corporate subscription, you will have to create a personal account. 

We use the "double opt in" process to verify you really do own the email address you told us.

About once a month, we send out a newsletter with information about what's new at the Academy and about upcoming live events where you can see and hear Eric Bogatin speak. 

When you create an account as a subscriber, you automatically sign up for the newsletter. At any time you can unsubscribe from receiving the newsletter by clicking the unsubscribe button sent out with every newsletter.

If you are not a subscriber, you can still sign up for the newsletter to read about new items added to the Academy and events where Eric is presenting. Just click on the newsletter sign up button on the home page.

When you purchased your personal subscription, you agreed to use it for your personal use. Please do not share your log in and password with anyone else. If others use your personal subscription, we would consider this a violation of the terms of use.

However, if you happen to be viewing specific lessons in a conference room and others are there with you and want to listen in, we do not consider this a violation in the terms of use. 

These lessons make great lunch and learn presentations.

If you have a corporate subscription, of course, everyone in your company can have their own personal subscription. You won't have to share.

In general, your subscription is yours. Once you activate your subscription, you can use it where ever you go.

Unless we hear otherwise, your subscription will stay active for the duration of the subscription period.

However, if your company purchased a personal subscription for you, and you leave the company, your company may decide to re-authorize the subscription for someone else. In this case, your subscription would be terminated.

We've tested all the top browsers and they all work, except...

IE8 and below. If you use IE, the latest version is IE11. Please upgrade at least to IE9.

All other browsers seem to work perfectly well, even on iPads, iPhones and Android tablets and phones.

It's easy to check if your browser will stream our videos. Any lesson with an "i" next to it is free and can be streamed without a subscription. Just click on one of these lessons and see if you can play the video with your browser. You can try this one, for example.

If you want to know whether our videos will play in another country from our servers in the US, just ask one of your remote engineers to try one of the free lessons.

Each lesson has a Q&A forum. On the landing page to the lesson is a box in which you can type any question. I post the answer, typically within 24 hours. The person asking the question gets an email to let them know when the answer is posted.
