- Three transmission line circuits: no stubs, 1 stub and 2 stubs
- Review the circuits
- Use rule #9!!
- Look at both the lossy and the lossles cases
- Export the S-parameters of each channel. What did you expect and why?
- Add the terminating resistors and simulate the eye- what do you expect as the difference between the single-ended and the differential cases?
- What is the highest data rate at which the stub will have little influence?
- How high a data rate can you achieve for the losses and lossy cases with and without the via stub?
- Change a parameter in the system, predict the impact, re-simulate to observe the impact.
